What does Tree Rings mean?
When Steve Shefveland, CEO and Founder, was thinking of a name for the company, he wanted a name that represented age in a very positive way. Tree Rings represent the age of a tree.  Just like boomers and seniors, a large tree is beautiful, full of wisdom, experienced, seasoned and mature.

What does Tree Rings do?
Tree Rings operates call centers within and next to retirement communities, staffed by boomers and seniors. Our boomers and seniors provide Call Center Services including Customer Service, Technical Support Services, Help Desk Support, Live Chat Support & Email Support.

How do you recruit seniors?
Our call centers are strategically located within and next to retirement communities who are filled with boomers and seniors who want to work part time. Most have extensive knowledge and experience with the products and services we represent. The maturity and diversity of experience is what we seek. We are hiring people who want to work and not necessarily those who need to work. Our boomers and seniors want to stay active and busy and they are comfortable using technology on a daily basis.

What is unique about staffing boomers and seniors?
Most work part time – thus we can be more cost effective and they don’t get burned out. They are productive and fresh for the 4-5 hours they work each shift. We hire boomers and seniors because they are wise, have years of experience, are very reliable, conscientious, and they understand their peers.

How do you train your employees?
We do extensive product and technology training and conduct daily on the job training.

It is the foundation for our business but we are a very good fit for companies selling to other age demographics. They like the same attributes in serving seniors to be served for other age demographics.

How long have you been in business?
We are a division of Ashesi Global Services, a global provider of call center services. Ashesi began serving customers in 2006. Tree Rings was formed in the summer of 2009 to hire boomers and seniors to meet the growing demand for supporting products and services in the boomer and senior marketplace. Tree Rings supports all of the companies that sell products and services to the boomer and senior marketplace.

How big is Tree Rings?
We are a small growing company that is actively hiring seniors. We serve customers in the US and Canada.

What technology platform does Tree Rings use?
We operate a global VOIP network out of Phoenix, AZ where all of our operations run over the internet. We have a central datacenter in Phoenix as well.

What are your expansion plans?
Our vision is to be the provider for all communications with boomers and seniors in 20 – 30 centers all over the US.

Do you operate Internationally?
We have plans and capabilities to do so, but at this time we serve clients in the US and Canada.
